Understanding the result

How ideas are generated

The generator is deterministic and rule based. It does not use AI, and the same keywords and options always produce the same list. It works in a few steps:

  1. Keywords: up to three words are taken from your input. Common filler words such as "the", "and" or "my" are dropped, and text in non-Latin scripts is transliterated to Latin letters.
  2. Patterns: the keywords are combined in several ways: joined, hyphenated, reversed, paired with a prefix such as "get" or "try", paired with a suffix such as "hub", "lab" or "studio", paired with descriptive words such as "online" or "store", blended where two words overlap, and shortened.
  3. Filtering: names shorter than 3 or longer than 20 characters, names with double hyphens and names with the same letter three times in a row are removed.
  4. Ranking: shorter names score higher, as do names without hyphens or digits, names that keep your keywords intact and names without long clusters of consonants.

Choosing a style

  • Short: your keywords on their own, trimmed or with a vowel removed, and initials or syllable combinations.
  • Brandable: prefix and suffix combinations and blends that read like a product name.
  • Descriptive: straightforward combinations that say what you do, such as a keyword followed by "services" or "guide".
  • All: every pattern, ranked together.

Available extensions are .com, .net, .org, .io, .co, .app, .dev, .info, .com.np and .org.np. The chosen extension is simply appended to each idea, so you can switch to compare how the same names look under a different ending.

Checking availability

The list is created without contacting any registry, which keeps it fast. Availability is checked only when you ask for a specific suggestion, using the same process as the Domain Availability tool, with the same honest verdicts: REGISTERED, LIKELY_AVAILABLE, UNSUPPORTED and so on. For .com.np and .org.np, the .np registry does not offer RDAP, so an undelegated name will be reported as UNSUPPORTED rather than guessed. Understanding .np domains explains how those registrations work.

Picking a good name

Say each candidate aloud and imagine spelling it over the phone: if you need to explain hyphens or unusual spellings, people will mistype it. Check that it does not read awkwardly when the words run together, and search for existing businesses or trademarks using the same name in your market. Keep it short enough to fit comfortably in an email address. Once you have a favorite, look up related names too, such as the plural or a hyphen-free version, since competitors or typo-squatters may register them.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I get the same suggestions every time?

The generator is deterministic by design, so results are reproducible and easy to share. Change the keywords, their order, the style or the extension to see different ideas.

Can I enter keywords in Nepali?

Yes. Non-Latin text is transliterated into Latin letters before ideas are generated, so the suggestions are ordinary ASCII domain names. Transliteration is mechanical, so review the spelling before choosing a name.

Why are availability results not shown for the whole list?

Checking dozens of names at once would place unnecessary load on registry services and make the page slow. Checking one suggestion at a time keeps each verdict accurate and fast.

Are the suggestions reserved for me?

No. The list is generated only for you and is not shared with registrars, but nothing is reserved. Register a name you like promptly.
