These terms apply to your use of DomainDNSCheck, including its tools, reports, monitoring and guides. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
DomainDNSCheck is a free, independent informational service. It provides tools for examining publicly available information about domain names, DNS, registration data, certificates, web servers and email configuration, along with educational content. DomainDNSCheck does not sell domains and is not a domain registry or registrar.
No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
Results can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Reasons include:
- upstream data sources, such as DNS resolvers, RDAP servers and registries, returning incomplete, delayed or incorrect data;
- network conditions, timeouts or temporary outages affecting a check;
- results being served from a short-term cache rather than a fresh lookup; and
- limits in what a passive, external check can observe.
Not professional advice
Content and results on DomainDNSCheck are for general information only. They are not legal, financial, security or other professional advice. For decisions that matter, consult a qualified professional and verify information with the relevant provider.
Domain Health Score
The Domain Health Score is an indicator based on published, versioned rules. It is not a security certification, audit or guarantee that a domain is safe, compliant or correctly configured.
Availability results
When a tool suggests that a domain name may be available, that is not a guarantee. Registration status can change at any time, and some registries do not publish complete data. Always confirm availability with a registrar or the registry before relying on it. For .np domains, the official registry is register.com.np.
Acceptable use
You may use DomainDNSCheck only for lawful purposes and within the passive, non-intrusive scope of its tools. You should only check domains, websites and systems that you are entitled to check.
You must not:
- attempt to bypass, disable or work around rate limits or other protective measures;
- automate high-volume querying, or scrape the site or its results;
- use the tools to probe private or internal networks, or to reach systems you are not authorized to access;
- attack, overload or interfere with the service, its infrastructure or any third-party system, including through the checks it performs;
- use results to harass, threaten, defame or otherwise harm any person or organization; or
- misrepresent results, or present DomainDNSCheck output as an official registry or certification record.
We may block, limit or refuse traffic that we reasonably believe is abusive, automated at high volume, or harmful to the service or to others, with or without notice.
Third-party data
Much of the information shown on DomainDNSCheck comes from third parties, including DNS operators, registries, registrars, regional internet registries and IANA. That data remains subject to its providers' terms, including RDAP terms of service and registry policies. Your use of such data is your responsibility and must comply with those terms.
Intellectual property
The text, guides, design and software of DomainDNSCheck are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to DomainDNSCheck or its licensors. You may share links to the site and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not copy or republish substantial portions of the content without permission.
Trademarks, service marks and names of other companies, registries and products belong to their respective owners. Their mention does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
External links
DomainDNSCheck links to external websites, including registries, standards bodies and service providers. These links are provided for convenience and reference. They are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DomainDNSCheck and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service or its results. This includes decisions made on the basis of results that turn out to be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle information is described in the privacy policy.
